During significant growth, Tony Knowles takes over Knowles Transport after the passing of his father, Gerald. Knowles continues it's growth.
Knowles Transport is awarded Haulier of the Year.
Knowles Transport joins Palletforce, and progresses to depot of the year in 2023.
Alex Knowles is appointed Managing Director.
Knowles begins it's 'Road To Net Zero' campaign by acquiring it's first Electric Powered vehicle, an electric Volvo FE, taking the first steps towards decarbonising it's operations.
Knowles Transport is re branded to Knowles Logistics, recognising the significant growth of its warehousing services. This name change aims to better communicate the full extent of capabilities to both customers and the industry.
Knowles Logistics see's the completion of multiple projects and investments, including the installation of solar panels across all sites, achieving the production of over 750,000KwH of electricity, completion of a full refurbishment and extension at the Wimblington based head office, plus an investment in a new car park with over 170 spaces due to company growth, accommodating employees and visitors. Knowles Logistics also acquired multiple new fleet vehicles, including brand new DAF XG's and Volvo Aero's, plus EV fleet solutions, amongst continuous investment toward the Net Zero agenda.
Knowles Logistics continues to expand its services, including logistics, storage and supply-chain solutions, plus renewable energy initiatives, demonstrating its commitment to sustainability and innovation.
