Warehouse Operatives that have the ability to function well as part of a team. You must have very effective organisational and communication skills and a flexible approach to work. Minimum of 1 years’ experience of working within a Warehouse environment. Fork Lift Truck Certificate, Counterbalance, Pivot, Flexi/Bendi trucks is an advantage. The ability to multi‐task and work in a fast paced environment. Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with Customers and Co‐Workers. Ensuring a high standard of hygiene at all times, clean as you go work ethic (damages, spillages and general hygiene are maintained at all times)

Working with the planning team to ensure effective running of the day to day Knowles Logistics Pallet Network fleet. Planning and manage effective movement of freight around the local area, including providing strong planning of the operational logistics arm of the business. Effective communication with the team to meet the demands of the network and providing the best customer service possible to internal and external stakeholders. Able to communicate efficiently with the drivers and monitor / problem solve any issues that may occur.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a fast paced transport or logistics environment. Operator licencing awareness along with up to date knowledge of compliance such as gross weights, construction an use regulations, Working Time Directive and EU Drivers hours. PC literate – Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint, Traffic management and warehouse management systems along with any other IT/ web based systems. Strong verbal and written communication skills along with excellent customer service skills. Highly organised, self-sufficient and as well as working as part of a team, have the ability to work on own initiative and to tight deadlines. Be flexible in your approach to work and hours, adaptable to change and a strong team player. Local (PE) area knowledge, this will grow as you develop into the role. Reliable and adaptable to fit into different teams and environments with a flexible approach to work and hours. Strong people management, leadership and interaction skills. Proactive with the ability to make quick decisions and to communicate changes swiftly to those affected by the changes made. A highly organised self-starter, responsible for own actions and decisions.
