Operator licencing awareness along with up to date knowledge of compliance such as gross weights, construction an use regulations, Working Time Directive and EU Drivers hours. PC literate – Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint, Traffic management and warehouse management systems along with any other IT/ web based systems. Strong verbal and written communication skills along with excellent customer service skills. The Role:

Key Accountabilities:
Customer Service
Ensure effective and efficient running of the warehouse function and customer satisfaction by:
Taking delivery of goods and supplies
Storing of goods
Picking of goods
Preparation of stock
Loading of stock by hand, pump truck or forklift
Keep accurate records of stocks
Assisting with stock taking as and when required
Keeping warehouse and work area clean and tidy through use of chemicals and non hazardous equipment
Use of the correct methods for manual handling
Use of automatic wrapper to correct procedure
Completion of relevant paperwork
Correct completion of the picking and unloading paperwork and IT based systems
Ensuring cleanliness of stock and warehouse (this includes cleaning spillages and damages as they happen or on discovery)
Communication
Contact internal customers to resolve any queries or problem that may arise with paperwork
Responding to and dealing with customer communication by email and telephone
Teamwork
