Knowles is continuing its growth in 2024 with an investment in 5 brand new DAF XG’s

Knowles Logistics has recently received five new DAF XG 480 tractor units. These new trucks are being added to the fleet during a time of growth, aimed at improving operational efficiency and increasing the company’s capacity, and adding to a fleet of 160 trucks and 220 trailers.

The trucks were supplied by DAF Trucks dealer Ford and Slater Wisbech and are equipped with PACCAR MX-13 engines that deliver 480 horsepower. The XG cabs come with a comprehensive aero kit, including deflectors, fenders, and side skirts, which enhance aerodynamic performance, reduce drag, and maximize fuel economy.

Alex Knowles, MD at Knowles Logistics said: “We are delighted to have taken delivery of our DAF XG 480 tractor units, which have been purchased to cater to the company’s growth in recent years.
